Preparations underway for book distribution to students

Arrangements had been finalized for the distribution of books for all educational stages, according to Education Ministry Assistant Undersecretary Latifa Al Bonoodha.

The Assistant Undersecretary said that books had been given to the schools during the summer holidays, but distribution to students was halted as a precautionary measure in compliance with national directives for the safety and protection of everyone against the threat of the pandemic.

She also added that students may take advantage of the digital books on the ministry’s website, except for English books due to copyright issues since they are produced by foreign companies
